It happened a few days ago, but is just being reported today.
They were trying to keep it quiet.
What happened is in San Diego these two girls found a zombie hanging out on their porch. They called the police, who then sent the zombie control.
The girls watched the whole drama from their window.
The ZP were about to shoot the zombie, but then it spoke. She said "Please don't kill me."
The girls (and maybe the ZP too) thought it was a hoax…someone dressing up as a zombie. But she SMELLED like a zombie.
Although I guess she could have rubbed zombie blood on her.
But that's not the case. At least that's what the article says. And the article was in a regular major news source. It wasn't in one of those tabloid sites.
Anyway, the ZP brought the zombie to the station and locked her up.
She said her name was Lily. She didn't know how long she had been a zombie. She was all confused.
Several times she told the ZP that this was all just a bad dream.
Some scientists came and CAREFULLY examined her. They determined she was really zombified.
Then a little later she stopped talking and started acting like a real zombie. She just moaned and grunted.
The article says she hasn't acted special in over 24 hours.
I wonder what the hell it's all about.
I'm very excited about all this.
I wish I could write my paper on it.
But no. I have to write about Alexander Pearce.
I'm going to start on that now.
